SILISPONGE HONEST REVIEW

So I wanted to come here and write my review on the Silisponge that is going crazy around the internet right now. It is a very affordable item and was only $8 and that was with delivery to the UK

So my first impressions of this was that its felt really weird, a bit like hard gel. When I first picked up my foundation with it and applied it to my face I found that it just sat on my face and was a bit weird and difficult to blend in. It just took a little longer than what a beauty blender would take. I also found that it felt a bit tougher on the skin and not as gentle as what a beauty blender does as its sponge. Finally I also found it left my face looking a bit dry especially around my eyebrows and cheeks. Maybe this is because I am used to a damp beauty blender?

My next step with is was my concealer. Once again it was very difficult to blend out into the foundation. I found you still had an outline around the concealer and needed a little bit more work to blend it out.

The positive thing about it was that it does use alot less product then a beauty blender and is easier to clean and can be cleaned easy after every use.

So overall I would say that its great for the reason it went viral (using less product) but in my opinion I don't feel it is for me because I am more for the easier quicker option and I feel I would always go for the beauty blender afterwards anyways.

I really wanted to like it and so sad I didn't.
However I would love to know if anyone else has tried it and what was your thoughts on it. Or even tips encase I could be doing it wrong.

I also have a YouTube video on this if you would want to hear what I have to say

L'oreal Charcoal Pure Clay Detox Mask - REVIEW

HI GUYS
So I was so excited when I found out there was going to be an affordable Drugstore Charcoal Face Mask. So because of this as soon as they were released I went straight too +Boots UK online and ordered this one. So they did come out with different ones just encase you have a different skin problem.

So as you can see below it is like a black clay that I actually quite like the smell. Which is nice as it needs to sit on my face for about 20 mins. It is nice and thick and is easy to apply to your face and easy enough to get a nice even layer. I have also used this at least 10 times so far and you would think it hasn't been used yet.
So as I said before it is really easy to get an even layer all over the face and doesn't dry super quick so that you can get it all over your face. This face mask is one of the ones which I love that dry tight and one of the ones where you cant talk properly. Personally I love this type as it feels like its doing something.

After about 10-20 mins the mask is dry and your face is super tight and you can see where it has sucked up all the dirty. Pretty disgusting but thats the point. Saves it from keeping it in your skin. Ive inserted a close up of the mask so you can see that it actually works.

So I would say this is a 10/10 for me. Defiantly a must in any sleepover or beauty bag.

Thank you so much for reading and maybe leave a comment on some of your favourite masks so that I can try them

Tanya Burr Cosmetics - Review & Swatches

I recently found myself in my local +Superdrug and found the wonderful +TanyaBurr Makeup Items and I picked up everything that was there.

So overall I am so happy with all of these items. They are all so affordable and amazing quality. They could be mistaken for a higher quality brand.

Also the packaging...I am obsessed. I love how the full range looks so good together. The packaging is also strong and would be ideal for travel as they are also compact enough to fit into your bag and not take up the full suitcase.

So below I have the Galaxy Eye Palette & the Hollywood Eye Palette
So here is the swatches for the Galaxy Eye Palette.
This is my favourite palette out of the two. I just love the colours in the palette and is great for a night out. When I done a look using this palette I was pleasantly surprised with the black shade. As you can see the black is so pigmented but is so easy to blend out and I can say this for all of these shades.
Defiantly Recommend.

So here are the swatches for the Hollywood Eye Palette.
So this palette is more for everyday. Perfect palette for someone who just wants simple colours or new to makeup and wants to try something but a bit scared. The colours are so pretty and blend so nicely. I will say the the lighter colours don't show so well on my skin but enough to give a great look.

So below are the Date Night Lashes
When you buy the lashes it comes with glue which is the standard glue and is great as does the job and dries clear. The lashes are so pretty and make my eyes look so large and open and they are a great size and for me don't need trimming which is amazing for me.
 Love <3

Below we have the Afternoon Tea Lip Gloss

So this is now my new favourite lip gloss. I just love the colour it is so cute. It is a sheer pink gloss and is very glossy and I love how it isn't sticky as there is nothing worse than hair getting stuck in your gloss.
<3

Thank you so much for giving this a read. Let me know what your favourite item is. <3

Everyday Green Smokey Eye

Hi Guys!!!
Here is my recent Makeup Tutorial and I am in love. I love how simple this is and is PERFECT for everyday.

So first I went in with my Glycerin and Rose Water which is great to hydrate my skin. Then with my +Sleek MakeUP Control Shine & Prime I apply this all over the face especially where I get the shiniest. This is my favourite drugstore primer as does what it says :)

Now the base is sorted we can now get the face started. So I used my new fav +Maybelline New York India Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation and applied this with a damp +Real Techniques Beauty Blender all over the face. Now I have a TIP if you apply more than one layer of foundation, it is always best to wait until the first layer is dry before you go in with the next layer Soooo in the mean time rather then sitting twiddling your thumbs fill in your brows :) give enough time for it to dry :)

Now onto the best part of the look in my eyes. HAHA and its the eyes :P So first I go in with my concealer and apply this all over the lid. You can use an eye primer if you want but I think this is the cheaper option and just the same. Saves you a bit money. Once that is all blended out right up into the brow you then want to go in with a skin toned shadow to set the concealer so this stops any transfer from the lid to crease. Then with my +Urban Decay Cosmetics NAKED PALETTE I take the colour Naked and apply this to the crease using a fluffy brush. Doesn't need to be accurate just in the crease making sure it is blended. Then with the same brush and shade Buck apply this to the crease also and this is going to give you the perfect transition look.

Then with my +BH Cosmetics SPECIAL OCCASIONS PALETTE I took the green shade and applied this all over the lid and the with my +NYX Professional Makeup Green Shimmer Rolled on top of the green we have just applied just to add something extra. Then I went back in with my fluffy brush to blend the green and brown together.

Oh Then lastly take the shade Virgin from the NAKED PALETTE and apply this to the inner corner and on the brow bone to add that highlight.

Now using my +Maybelline UK Liquid Liner I applied a wing to the eye. I then go in with my FAV +Oriflame Sweden THE ONE MASCARA and apply this to the lashes ready for my +Ardell Lashes

Now we can go back to the face. So I am first going in with +Maybelline New York India DREAM LUMI CONCEALER to my under eyes, chin, top lip, nose and forhead to highlight my face Then with my beauty blender blend this out and then set it using my +MAC Cosmetics TRANSLUCENT POWDER to stop then from moving around my face and prevent creasing on the under eyes.
Then with my +MAC Cosmetics Bronzing Powder I contoured my face to help and shade and colour to the face.

A quick step before I do anything else it to go back in with Naked from the NAKED PALETTE again just apply this on the lower lash line. Then with my white liner from +NYX Professional Makeup I apply this to the waterline.

Now using once again more +NYX Professional Makeup items (can you tell I like them) I am using Soft Spoken & Lifes A Beach NYX LIQUED SUEDE LIPSTICKS and done a ombre lip. I will be going into more detail on this in a later blog coming soon.

Now we are reaching the end....I simply add a little bit of +Makeup Revolution I HEART MAKEUP HIGHLIGHTER to the highest points of my cheeks nose and then set my face using their setting spray.

HERES SOME CLOSE UPS...

Thank you so much for giving this a read I do hope you like this as much as me. If you have any looks you would like me to do let me know :)

xXx

The London Look | #LondonLookUK

Steps
1. So first as always I primed my face and applied my foundation making sure its blended and here are no harsh lines.
2. Then I went on to fill in my brows. You can do this anyway you would normally as this is a very personal thing and will change from each person.
3. Then with a concealer i applied this to my under eye, chin, nose and forehead and blended this out with a beauty blender. I also set my under eye using a setting lose powder.
4. Then with a bronzing powder I take this and blend this in my cheek bones , forehead, jawline and the nose. I then take my foundation brush and take this over everything to make sure there are no harsh lines.
4. I then go on and apply a cream colour to the lids of my eyes. Then with a light cool tones brown and apply this to the crease of my eye until I am happy with the colour and theres no harsh lines. Then with a black colour I take a small amount and apply this right on the outer corner of my crease and take a large fluffy brush to blend this out so it doesn't look to harsh.
5. Then with a liquid liner I just apply a winged look on the top lid only. I also then apply mascara and lashes.
6. Once that is done I can see if more is needed to be added. In this case yes. I take the black again and apply it in the same place and blend this out until I am happy. I also apply a small amount on the lower lash line only on the outer corner.
7. Then I take my highlighter and apply this to the high points of my cheek bones nose and the bridge of my nose.
8. Finally I add a red lip to complete this look. I feel red is important for this look and what represents London.
